As a Beverage and Hospitality Enforcement Officer, you monitor compliance with beverage and hospitality legislation in the municipality of Loon op Zand. You may also be deployed in other municipalities. The work varies: you may supervise a football canteen (para-commercial activity), inspect supermarkets and liquor stores, and visit hospitality venues and events. You observe, provide information, identify violations and impose sanctions. After each shift, you prepare a report; a fine report may also be required. You always work with a colleague, either on foot or by car.

The shifts can be combined with your current work, including if you already work as a special investigating officer, enforcement officer or supervisor. Planners and project managers help fit the shifts into your schedule. The working days and shifts are 2 times per month on Friday or Saturday from 16:00 to 23:00.
