Employer and location
The employer is The Keepers. At a holiday park in Hapert, guests come to relax, eat together and enjoy themselves. Families, returning guests, local visitors and holidaymakers of all ages visit for lunch, dinner, a buffet, pizza or a quick meal. You help make their day a little better.
You work at a large, lively location in nature. The plaza has several hospitality venues, including a buffet restaurant, an à-la-carte restaurant, a pizzeria and a snack bar. It can be busy, but the atmosphere is informal and welcoming.
Many guests stay for several days and return regularly, so you often see familiar faces. Although the location is large, the team feels personal and familiar. There is room to chat or have a drink with colleagues after a shift.
The role
As seasonal hospitality staff, you help guests in the restaurants and on the plaza, keep tables tidy and maintain an overview during busy periods.
Hospitality experience is not required. Training and guidance are provided so you can learn step by step. What matters is that you enjoy working with people and understand that guests are here for a pleasant holiday.
What you will do
- Welcome guests and help them in a hospitable, informal way.
- Take orders and serve drinks and dishes.
- Clear tables and keep the venue tidy.
- Help at the buffet, in the restaurant or at other locations within the plaza.
- Work during busy periods, such as around lunch, dinner or holiday peaks.
- Work with colleagues to create a pleasant experience for guests.
Who are we looking for?
This role suits someone who likes being around people and gains energy from a lively work environment.
Experience in hospitality is not required. It helps if you are friendly, make contact easily and enjoy helping guests. You do not have to address people formally if that does not suit the moment; the atmosphere is approachable, sociable and personal.
You are available for seasonal work from now through October. If it is a good fit for both sides, you may continue working year-round.
What we offer
- An hourly wage of €17,67 including holiday pay and holiday days.
- Travel allowance of €0,23 per kilometre.
- 25% supplement on Sundays.
- Work for 32 to 38 hours per week, with room to discuss what suits you.
- Shifts from 12:00 to 21:00, 14:00 to 22:00 or 16:00 to 23:30.
- Training and guidance, including if you have no hospitality experience.
- Work at a busy holiday park in Hapert, in nature.
- An informal work atmosphere with a friendly Brabant team.
- The possibility to continue working in autumn or year-round after the season.
