At Trigion, you work part time as a security officer at COA locations in the Eindhoven region. Together with Trigion security colleagues, you help create a safe and humane environment for residents, employees and visitors. The specific city and province are not provided.

Role and duties

  • Carry out camera surveillance, access control, patrol rounds and responses to suspicious situations.
  • Handle administrative or logistical tasks, such as opening barriers and keeping records.
  • Work part time on day, night and weekend shifts. You may also be deployed at other nearby locations, for example a municipality, office building, hospital or amusement park.
  • Use an approachable and people-oriented manner with residents, employees and visitors, while acting decisively when needed.

Development and onboarding

  • Work with colleagues who are available for questions or a personal conversation.
  • Development options include obtaining a coordination diploma to grow into a security team leader role, or becoming a practical trainer for aspiring security officers.
  • Start with an extensive onboarding process, shadowing experienced colleagues in different shifts. The duration is decided together, and you start at the COA when you feel ready.
  • You may make a real difference, for example by detecting a leak early; the client may be very grateful.

Requirements

  • An MBO Beveiliger 2 diploma is required. If you do not have it, the vacancy directs you to the Beveiliger in opleiding (BBL) vacancy.
  • You must be able to travel independently to the location or locations, move a lot and walk a lot during the day.
  • You speak Dutch well and have basic English, so you can give the correct instructions in English in stressful situations.
  • You are curious, alert and helpful, recognise unusual situations quickly and can intervene before a situation escalates.

Compensation and benefits

The role offers security within a stable family business where arrangements are well organised and people look out for one another.

  • Gross hourly pay between € 17,37 - € 20,70 under the Private Security collective labour agreement, depending on experience.
  • Irregularity allowances that can increase your salary to as much as € 750,- extra gross per month.
  • A contract for a year and 13 salary payments per year; payment is made every four weeks.
  • Full travel-cost reimbursement when travelling by public transport or € 0,23 per km from 9 km.
