PostNL offers part-time work as a postal worker. You collect sorted mail from a nearby depot before 15:00, then cycle and walk your route in your own neighbourhood. You choose your working times, provided the mail is safely kept during breaks and is in the mailboxes by 18:00. The workdays are Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday. The salary is €16 per hour.

Everyone from age 16 can do this work. You must be available for at least 7 months, be fit enough to walk and cycle for a few hours and lift mail bags up to 23 kg, have a sturdy bicycle with an iron luggage rack, speak Dutch or English well, have a smartphone for work, and be flexible about different neighbourhoods.
