About the role

Picnic is looking for part-time or full-time Delivery Drivers immediately. You start at a hub, load crates into an electric Picnic van, complete the stated route and deliver to customers. The role combines driving, walking, lifting boxes and customer contact. Picnic presents this as work in a young, inclusive team where you are the neighbourhood hero helping make families happy.

Everyday tasks

  • Start at the hub by loading crates into your own electric Picnic van and checking your route and battery.
  • Deliver to 15-18 addresses during each 3-hour shift, usually within a 10 km radius.
  • Help customers with questions; you are the face of Picnic in the neighbourhood.
  • Drive back after finishing the route, hand in the van and take the free snack provided after the shift.

Pay and benefits

  • The hourly wage is €9.98 at 18 yrs and up to €16.19 at 21+ yrs, including holiday pay.
  • Salary and tips are paid weekly through the app. The advert says you can have the weekly salary in your bank account next week.
  • The electric Picnic van has Bluetooth for your playlist; you get free snacks after every shift and pizza night during “shift 4” on Friday.
  • There is a €200 training budget and growth opportunities to team lead or trainer.

Hours and availability

You plan or claim your own shifts in the app every Friday. The role asks for 16-40 hours per week, including regular evening or weekend shifts. Morning options are 07:00-10:30 or 10:00-12:30, depending on the location. The afternoon/evening schedule is written in the source as 14:00-16 45-19 30-22:30. If you can no longer work a shift, you can swap with a colleague up to 24 hours in advance. Picnic asks for 6 fixed availability slots per week, and you choose which ones.

What you need

  • Be at least 18 years old and hold a valid Category B driver’s licence.
  • Bring positive energy, a customer-oriented attitude and a responsible approach.
  • Be fit enough to walk a lot and lift boxes.
