Security Officer Eindhoven (part-time/full-time)

About the role

As a Trigion security officer, you create safety for people at your location and can finish each shift with a sense of fulfilment. In the Eindhoven region, you monitor the safety of people and goods and maintain order and calm on the premises.

Your work may include camera monitoring, access control, patrols and responding to suspicious situations, depending on the location. You may also do administrative or logistical tasks, such as opening barriers for visitors, and act as a representative of the client. You work day, night and weekend shifts and may be deployed at other nearby locations, such as a municipality, office building, asylum-seeker centre or another government building.

• You work with colleagues who are available for questions or a personal conversation.
• You can develop by progressing to security team leader through a coordination diploma, or by becoming a practical supervisor for trainee security officers.
• You begin with an extensive induction, accompanying experienced colleagues on different shifts. The duration is agreed together, and you start at the workplace when you feel ready.
• You make a real difference by identifying suspicious situations early, meet many colleagues and build varied contacts within an involved Trigion team and with employees at the relevant site.

What you receive

This is a secure job in a stable family business where arrangements are well organised and people look out for one another.

• A gross hourly wage of € 17,37 - € 20,70 under the collective labour agreement for Private Security, depending on experience.
• Irregular-hours allowances that can raise your pay by up to € 750,- extra gross per month.
• An annual contract and 13 salary payments per year, paid every four weeks.
• Full travel-cost reimbursement by public transport, or € 0,23 per km from 9 km.

Requirements

You are friendly and decisive with employees, customers and visitors, and you recognise unusual situations quickly. You must have the MBO Beveiliger 2 diploma, be able to reach the location or locations independently, and be able to move around frequently. You speak Dutch well and have basic English, including the ability to give the right instructions in stressful situations. If you do not have the MBO Beveiliger 2 diploma, Trigion asks you not to apply for this vacancy but to choose the Beveiliger in opleiding (BBL) route.
