ICT System Administrator Internship

As an ICT System Administrator, you help ensure that Medireva’s IT environment works well today and continues to become smarter, safer and more efficient. You manage, maintain and further develop the IT infrastructure and technical platforms, while identifying and implementing improvements.

Responsibilities

• Manage, monitor and optimise the IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, VMware, network environments and workplace environments.
• Install, configure and manage servers, systems, applications and technical integrations.
• Carry out and support technical improvements, innovations and smaller projects, including the consolidation of existing solutions.
• Maintain technical documentation, work instructions and management standards.

You work independently and closely with the infrastructure architect on technical choices and implementations. You will help further develop the IT environment, standardise solutions and work smarter and more efficiently. You work with two other system administrators in Maastricht and with IT colleagues in Eindhoven, including the service desk.

You are technically strong, work independently and look for ways to prevent problems from recurring. You can explain technical subjects clearly and cooperate easily with colleagues inside and outside IT.

Requirements

• HBO working and thinking level, preferably with a completed education in IT, Computer Science, or Systems and Network Management.
• At least 3 years of relevant work experience as a System Administrator, Technical Administrator or Infrastructure Engineer.
• Willingness to work at least 2 days per week at the office in Eindhoven.

This is an independent role with room to develop the IT environment and contribute directly to technical questions, improvements and projects. You join a close team with experienced IT colleagues and a positive working climate.
