Are you an experienced system administrator who gets energy from a stable, secure, and well-managed IT environment? Do you have broad knowledge of Microsoft environments, server management, Microsoft 365, Azure, and virtualization? And do you like to work in a role where you not only resolve incidents but also actively help build, standardize, and innovate the IT environment?

As a System Administrator / Technical Application Administrator, you are responsible for the management, maintenance, and further development of our IT infrastructure and technical platforms. You ensure that our systems are reliable, secure, and future-proof, and support the organization with your technical knowledge and solution-oriented approach.

You are responsible for the technical management of our IT environment:

  • Technical management of Windows Server environments, including maintenance, updates, and security;
  • Management of Microsoft 365 / Office 365, including for example Exchange Online, Teams, SharePoint Online, OneDrive, and management of user and permission structures;
  • Installation, configuration, and management of servers, systems, applications, and technical integrations;
  • Managing authorizations, security settings, and technical compliance within the IT environment;
  • Identifying, analyzing, and resolving incidents, problems, and disruptions within the infrastructure and technical platforms;
  • Implementing and guiding changes and technical improvements within the environment;
  • Drafting and maintaining technical documentation, work instructions, and management standards;
  • Collaborating with internal colleagues and external suppliers to ensure the quality and continuity of IT services.

For this position, we are looking for a technically strong and proactive administrator who maintains an overview, takes ownership, and likes to work on a stable and secure IT environment. You are able to quickly analyze, prioritize, and sustainably solve technical issues and disruptions. You know how to translate technical information clearly to colleagues and users and actively think along about improvements and solutions.

Requirements:

  • HBO working and thinking level, preferably a completed education in the direction of IT / Informatics / System and Network Management;
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant work experience in a comparable role as a System Administrator, Technical Administrator, or Infrastructure Engineer;
  • The willingness to work at least 3 days a week in the office at alternating locations (Eindhoven and Maastricht).

What we offer:

  • You will become part of a close-knit team with an infectious and positive working climate, in which we achieve great results together and also celebrate those successes with each other.
  • Access to online training courses via GoodHabitz to keep developing yourself;
  • Weekly free fresh fruit and daily free soup.

Are you the System Administrator we are looking for? After this step, a second interview will follow with Annette Visser (IT Manager). After that, the employment terms will be finalized, and from that moment on, you can continue your career in this new role within Bosman & MediReva.

Good to know before applying

This internship at Medireva requires commuting between Eindhoven and Maastricht, making it ideal for students at TU Eindhoven or Fontys who can manage a flexible study schedule. Since you must work on-site at least three days a week, having a student travel product (studentenreisproduct) is highly beneficial for the train journey between these two southern hubs. Be sure to verify the source requirements carefully, particularly the need for an HBO-level background in IT and at least three years of relevant experience, before submitting your application.
