Recruitment Internship at JAM in Eindhoven

Want to make a real impact as an intern and contribute directly to the organization's goals? With us, that is completely normal! What will you do? With us, an intern's work is very similar to that of a Junior employee. How else can you experience how things work in practice? Just like your colleagues, you will have direct contact with candidates, and they can come to you with all their questions. Your goal is to help as many students, starters, and young professionals as possible find a job that suits them. And because you are right in the middle of the target group yourself, you know better than anyone what they need! You happy, they happy, we happy.

We constantly receive new vacancies from our clients. The positions we fill vary from customer service to logistics employee and from marketer to production worker. We think it is extremely important that you know who you are searching for, which is why you will visit our largest clients to see in real life how things go on the work floor. This helps you to enthuse your candidates and paint a good picture of the working environment. And that is really super fun, at least we think so.

Once you know all the ins & outs, the search begins. First of all, you will search our database for the right match. If it's not there, you get to work yourself. Think of writing a catchy vacancy (just like this beautiful specimen), using the right social media, and actively approaching job seekers. Once you have found someone, you will speak to this student or starter extensively, physically or digitally. Together with your team, you discuss the candidate, and then they are presented to one or more companies. From that moment on, you switch to supporting, guiding, and assisting your candidate on their way to their new job!

The moment you have helped someone get a job (yey!), you are not done yet. You ensure that everything is administratively correct, you handle the planning, and you maintain contact. Nice and varied! Did we already mention that we have a very cozy and fun team? Because we do. We are mega-ambitious and constantly improving and developing. Currently, we work with about 35 colleagues with an average age of 26. We laugh a lot, celebrate many parties, but can also work incredibly hard. We know what the struggles are for starters and young people because we are the target group ourselves. Within JAM, we highly value clear onboarding processes to make you important in no time.

Important: we are far from an average employment agency. We have a specific niche working with our own innovative digital platform. Do not expect a very standard recruitment role here. We love freedom, personal input, and entrepreneurship. If you bring that, you are already halfway there!

What do we expect from you?

• You are following an HBO or WO education;
• You are commercial and goal-oriented;
• You have strong communication skills in Dutch (verbal and written);
• You are enterprising, enthusiastic, and eager to learn. Being grumpy does not happen to you very often.

Where will you work?

As an intern at JAM, you step into a growing organization. We are growing through our own roof! Literally, because last year we doubled the size of our headquarters in Eindhoven. In addition, we opened our offices in Utrecht, Nijmegen, and Maastricht. And we are very proud of that. When you start with us, you step onto the JAM train that will keep rolling for now. What we are also proud of is our team. Man, what a team! The counter of colleagues currently stands at 35, with an average age of 27 (including our management). Together we have experienced a lot; from an Oktoberfest in the office to a 10-course dinner during our 10th anniversary, and from nights out in Utrecht and Eindhoven to weekends in Lisbon, Alicante, Durbuy, and Barcelona!
